You Are Invited to Scoop’s Celebration Gala!

     Shepherd’s Center of Orange Park’s (“SCOOP”) is having our fourth annual Celebration Gala as a culmination of a very exciting 2009.  We are celebrating new classes, new attendees, outstanding volunteers, faithful members, fundraising events and community support. 

     There are several different ways to participate and celebrate in this fundraising event.  Everyone who participates will receive recognition in designated levels of giving in the SCOOP newsletter.  Major donors in the Diamond, Emerald, Ruby and Sapphire levels will also receive an invitation to the celebration gala.  Your invitation will include brunch at Club Continental on the St. Johns River, a gift bag, door prizes and auction opportunities. (See Newsletter page 5 for details.)  Many thanks to our sponsor, The Allegro! This fundraiser is instrumental in sustaining SCOOP which provides an award-winning educational program for senior adults.  Registrations cover almost 50% of the budget, leaving the remainder to be covered through the generosity of your contributions. As a nonprofit that receives no government funding, we must raise money each year to cover expenses such as salary, rent (increased 100% in 2008), insurance, teacher lunches, internet, phone, office supplies, printing, postage, etc.  Our goal is always to provide a quality program at an affordable price. We very much appreciate your commitment to SCOOP.  We truly hope that your involvement has been a wonderful experience!  Whether you are a longtime supporter or a first time contributor, we thank you for considering a donation.  Your donation really does make a difference!
