Chris Bass oversaw the Genealogy and Local History Department and taught computer classes for the Clay County Public Library for eleven years, retiring in 2015.
Bass is the secretary for the board of directors, does data entry for the Shepherd’s Center, teaches a class, and participates in the outreach program. She also is active in the Daughters of the American Revolution and is the treasurer for the Jacksonville Genealogical Society. Her next project will be helping once a month for the Clothes Closet of Orange Park.
